Rule 10. Become the person you want to be.

Okay. Second blog entry on a brand spanking new blog. Right. So, it's not new as of a few seconds ago or anything, but it's pretty new considering that I'll have had my current LiveJournal for two years next month and I had my previous LiveJournal since a few days before I turned 13. I'm past being 18 now. Long time. So, this blog has been alive for a relatively short time.

It's all about perspective right?

Anyway. Went to Comic-Con in San Diego. I had the best time I could possible ever have. It was flat out amazing. My friend and I met the cast of three different shows I love and a creator/producer of some of the best stuff. We made friends with a guy named Ben Milsom from the BBC's video game department. (He's actually the cousin of Tom Milsom, British Vlogger and musician that I adore. It was a great moment for me and Ben and I had been chill for a day and a half before I asked him about his last name.)

So. We met J.J. Abrams, the cast of Being Human, the cast of Chuck and the cast of Fringe. It was fantastic. Joshua Jackson basically made my life. We let a camera guy go ahead of us and he interviewed every person at the signing booth. Therefore, we got to talk to the entire cast as we waited for them to move down the line. I got to tell Joshua Jackson that, yes, in fact, Peter Bishop is one of my favorite TV characters of all time. He grabbed me and told me to tell the producer, so I did. It was amazing. Then we chatted and made some jokes before we had to move on.

It was only when I got back did I realize he did that Funny or Die video about Pacey-Con. It was HILARIOUS! So, next year I'm going with my sister and we're going to make T-Shirts that say Pacey-Con 2011 on them. I'm quite excited. :]

Also, Zachary Levi gave me a high five and Adam Baldwin called me cutie. It was probably the best time of my life. :D The hours of waiting to meet and get their autographs? Totally fraking worth it.

I'm currently reading two books. I started to re-read the Harry Potter series, so I'm reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, which is lovely as always. I'm also reading Rob Thurman's Nightlife and I like it so far. I'll tell if I still enjoy it when I get further in it, since I started it last night.

The last movie I watched was Inception and it will also be the next movie I watch, since I'm seeing it with my sister on Friday. I will end up majoring in (1) English with a concentration in Motion Picture Studies and (2) TV/Film Production. My two greatest passions will collide and I can do it anywhere around the world.

TV wise, I started watching Dawson's Creek. I never got to watch it growing up because my sister wouldn't let me watch it with her, so I'm seeing it will all new eyes. I wish, though, that I had watched it when I was in high school because it's truly wonderful. It's really ballsy and I love it.

I've decided to start a vlogging project in the vein of VlogBrothers (Brotherhood 2.0), FiveAwesomeGirls and FiveAwesomeGuys. We're Five Nerdy Friends and we should start vlogging next month. We're doing it for our own benefit, though, not to copy the awesome projects that have come before us. We're all just big fans of those and I thought that since I have some pretty awesome and nerdy friends that don't know each other, that they should. :]

Anyway. I'm going to go watch some more TV and read some more words. Until next time.

Come Sail Away!

Oh, the simple art of blogging. It's like speaking, but it's actually writing, except on a keyboard. Therefore it's more like typing. It's all very confusing.

Anyway. Welcome to my blog. One of many. (LJ had always been good to me, but I don't want to add all of you to my personal journal.) In this "one of many" blogs, I will probably talk about books, TV shows, movies and my favorite British Vloggers. (Which I have started to do because of those many lovely British people I love!)

So, let's go down that list.

Books: I'm currently reading Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.'s Breakfast of Champions and loving it, of course. Vonnegut is my favorite author and I've loved every novel and short story I've ever read of his. Yay.

TV Shows: I'm watching S2 of Being Human because I'm trying to get caught up with because I'm going to the San Diego Comic Convention International in three days and they're showing the premier of the third series and I want to know what's going. Plus, I love that show anyway.

Movies: The last movie I watched was Zombieland and I loved it. It was really good and very funny. I don't have too many bad things to day about it and the "bad things" I do have to say about it are stupid and nitpicky so I don't really care too much to type them out.

There you have it. I'd say something about the British YouTubers, but they haven't really done anything new since they were all at VidCon here in America with the Vlog Brothers. :D
